# What vendors see

Vendors > Their page · How it works · https://vendordue.com/docs/what-vendors-see

**In short:** Each vendor you invite gets their own page for your store: their next payout and what's owed, every payout with the working under each line, their consignor rate and agreement, their items in your store, and messages with you. They never see your share, your costs, or other vendors.

Who: Admin, Viewer. Where: The vendor's page.

A vendor who accepts your invitation can open their own page at any time, on a phone or a computer. It answers the questions they'd otherwise ring you with: when am I paid, how much, and why that amount. See [Invite vendors](https://vendordue.com/docs/invite-vendors).

## Payouts

The first thing they see:

- **Next payout**: its day, amount and stage, and their schedule in a sentence: "You're paid every month on the 1st, for sales up to the day before, once each sale has shipped."
- **Owed to you**: payouts that landed and aren't paid yet, with **Ask to be paid**. See [When a vendor asks to be paid](https://vendordue.com/docs/vendor-asks-to-be-paid).
- **Paid to you** this year.

Under that, two tabs:

- **Live sales**, if you allow it: each sale as it's recorded, grouped by the payout it's heading for. "Every sale here can still change until its payout lands, for example if it is refunded."
- **History**: every payout, with each line's working, the payments against it and their receipts. They can download any payout as a PDF or spreadsheet, press **Looks right to me** to confirm it, or **Ask about this line**.

When a pay day passes them by, their page says why, so silence never reads as being forgotten: "What had cleared for you was under Fernhill Pottery's $50.00 minimum payout. It carries into your next payout."

## Agreement

The whole deal in one place:

- **Your agreement**: when it started and how long it runs.
- **Your consignor rate**: each rate row and what it applies to, the **Default**, and the share basis in plain words: "Share basis: revenue. The price paid, less discounts and tax."
- **The written agreement**, if you have one, with **Accept**. See [The written agreement](https://vendordue.com/docs/written-agreement).
- **Your terms today**: when they're paid, and how long it runs.
- **In the store**: their items still on your shelves, oldest first, and what happened to any that left unsold. See [Items in the store](https://vendordue.com/docs/items-in-the-store).

## Messages

A conversation with your store, if you allow it. See [Messages and Ask about this](https://vendordue.com/docs/messages).

## Their PayPal or Venmo

They add it themselves, so you never have to type someone's account details. Until they do, their page says: "Fernhill Pottery pays you the way they already do and records each payment here." See [Your PayPal or Venmo](https://vendordue.com/docs/vendor-paypal-venmo).

## What they never see

| Hidden from vendors | Why |
| --- | --- |
| **Your share** and your costs | Their working stops at their share |
| **Other vendors** | Each vendor sees only their own sales, payouts and messages |
| **Customer names and details** | VendorDue doesn't keep them |
| **Your team's notes** | Like why you held their payouts: "Only your team sees this" |
| **Needs attention** | They see that a sale is on hold, not your decision about it |

## Common questions

**Do vendors need to sign up for anything?** They accept your invitation from the email, choose a password, and sign in with their email address from then on. There's nothing to install and nothing to pay. See Signing in, and several stores.

**Can I turn off Live sales?** Yes, for everyone in Settings › Vendors, or for one vendor on their Access tab.

**Do vendors see refunds?** Yes. A refund is a line on their page and on their payout, with the product and order number.
