# Your agreement and bills

For vendors > Your store · For vendors · https://vendordue.com/docs/vendor-agreement-and-bills

**In short:** Agreement shows your whole deal with the store: your consignor rate, how you're paid, how long it runs, any charges, the written agreement if there is one, and your items still in the store. Bills are for charges like booth rent; they come off your next payout unless you pay the store directly first.

Who: Vendor. Where: Agreement.

Everything you agreed with the store is on one page, **Agreement**, so you never have to dig out an old email to check your rate.

## Your consignor rate

**Your consignor rate** is what you earn from each sale, as the store set it. It may be one rate, or a list "read top to bottom": a different rate for a product, a collection or a price range, and a **Default** for everything else. A sale takes the first row it matches.

Under it, one sentence says what the rate is a share of, like "Share basis: revenue. The price paid, less discounts and tax." Some stores share **profit** instead: "What is left after Fernhill Pottery's costs."

When the store changes your rate, the change has a start day. Sales before it keep the rate they had; your payouts never change after they land.

## Your terms today

- **When you are paid**: your pay day, in a sentence. See [When you're paid](https://vendordue.com/docs/vendor-when-paid).
- **How long it runs**: from when, until when, or "no end date".
- **Charges**: anything the store takes from you, like booth rent on the 1st of each month.

You get an email 14 days before your agreement ends, and on the day: "Your agreement with Fernhill Pottery ends 31 December".

## The written agreement

Some stores write their agreement down in VendorDue. Read it under **The written agreement**, then type **Your name** and press **Accept version** with its number. "Accepting keeps a record that you read this version and these terms. Fernhill Pottery sees your name and the day. Your pay stays the same."

If the store changes the agreement or your terms later, you're asked to accept again: "Your terms changed after you accepted on 14 Sep. Read them again above."

## In the store

**In the store** shows your items still listed and in stock at the store, oldest first, with how long each has been there. Items past your agreement's length are grouped as **Over** that many days, so you can decide whether to collect them.

When an item leaves the store unsold, the store marks why: **Picked up** by you, **Donated**, **Kept by the shop**, or **Lost or damaged**. Lost or damaged items are paid to you at your share, as a line on your payout.

## Bills

When the store charges you, like booth rent, you get a bill: "Bill 1043 from Fernhill Pottery". It lists what it's for, and "It comes off your next payout, unless you pay Fernhill Pottery directly first."

- **Off your payout**: it shows on your payout as a line with a minus, named for the charge, like **Booth rent**.
- **Paid directly**: pay the store, and they record it. The bill then doesn't come off your payout, and its line reads **Bill paid to the shop**.

Open a bill from its email, or from the payout it came off: **Open payout**.

## When it looks wrong

### My rate on a sale isn't the one on this page

A rate change applies from its start day. Open the sale's line in your payout: it shows the rate it used. If that's wrong for the day, ask the store about that line.

### I paid a bill directly but it still came off my payout

Ask the store in **Messages**, with the payout attached. If they record your payment before the payout lands, the bill stops coming off it. If the payout already landed, you've paid it twice, and the store owes you that amount back.

### My items aren't listed under In the store

Only items listed and in stock in the store's Shopify show. Ask the store to check the product's vendor name in Shopify.

## Common questions

**Can I change my consignor rate?** No, the store sets it. Talk to them in Messages; when they change it, this page shows the new rate and its start day.

**Do I have to accept the written agreement?** It's between you and the store. Accepting doesn't change your pay; it records that you read it.

**What happens when my agreement ends?** The store's terms say. Usually a new one starts, or it ends and your charges stop. What you're owed stays owed.
