# Every setting

**In short:** Every setting in VendorDue, by the Settings section it's in, with what it decides and the page that explains it. Your own sections, Account and Security, are yours to change; the shop's sections need an Admin.

Who: Admin, Viewer. Where: Settings.

**Settings** has three groups: **You**, **Your shop** and **VendorDue**. Anyone can change their own Account and Security. Everything under Your shop needs an Admin; a Viewer sees the answers but can't change them.

**How payouts behave** lists five answers that aren't settings, such as **Paying part of it**: "Allowed. The rest stays on To pay."

## Vendors

Neither archives a vendor with anything earned, held, owed or charged.

Outside the US, checks are cheques.

## Common questions

**Why can't I change a setting?** Settings under Your shop need an Admin. Ask the store owner to make you one in Settings › Team.

**Do changes to Terms change past payouts?** No. A change to terms applies from the day you choose, and payouts that already landed never change.
